Facebook Messenger Upgrade Brings "Instant Games" Pac-Man and Old School Favorites
Friendships will be put to the test.
Facebook is not done innovating on its Messenger app, as the social media giant launched an update Tuesday to include what they are calling “Instant Games.” As is the case with anything on Facebook, this is meant to be shared with friends and offers the user the ability to challenge others in games of their choice. The selection includes titles like Words with Friends and Bust-A-Move but the real winners are the generation of arcade classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Galaga. There is a leaderboard to show off high scores and while sportsmanship is encouraged, there will be inevitable trash talking.
