We’ve officially entered the month of March and while excitement permeates the NBA with its chaotic playoff picture, it is also hitting the footwear industry this week as Nike, ASICS, adidas, New Balance, Jordan Brand and Crocs are all set to offer anticipated drops this week. Before we dive into all 10 launches, let’s first look back at which sneaker headlines caught our eye last week.

On the feature side of things, we started with a compilation of 10 new sneaker models to track this year, featuring 10 different brands. We also caught up with norda’s Nick Martire to reveal the norda 005 — the world’s most advanced trail running shoe.

Nike had an unveiling of its own, bringing forth its new racing footwear set — the Vaporfly 4 and Streakfly 2. We were also served a complete preview of Olaolu Slawn’s two Nike Air Max 90 colorways. As for rumor discussions, the Air Foamposite One is expected to arrive in a new “Carbon Fiber” look this year alongside a Stüssy x Nike Air Baltoro collaboration. Jordan Brand gave Luka Dončić the opportunity to debut his Jordan Luka 4 in the superstar’s first match against his former team. Better looks at the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 “Violet Ore” and Air Jordan 9 “Cool Grey” were also delivered.

Elsewhere in the industry, New Balance had a big week with Salehe Bembury finally announcing the launch of his 991v2 “Colors Be The Palette.” Teasers of a Rich Paul x New Balance 2010 collab and CNCPTS x New Balance 1000 popped up as well. Rounding things out, Marni and HOKA’s debut collaboration featuring the Bondi B3LS was revealed.

With all of the past week’s key footwear news recapped, let’s dive into which 10 sneakers you should have on your radar this week. After completing your read, don’t forget to check out HBX to shop styles that are available now.

Nike Air Max Dn8

Release Date: March 6
Release Price: $190 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: At last, the Nike Air Max Dn8 is here. The long-awaited sequel to last year’s Air Max Dn made an early debut last month but now arrives on global retail shelves as part of the brand’s next chapter of Air. A wide variety of colorways teased by the Swoosh are expected to arrive this week as Dynamic Air technology spreads across the entirety of the shoe’s sole unit.

ASICS GEL-VENTURE 6 SHIELD “Feather Grey”

Release Date: March 6
Release Price: $110 USD
Where to Buy: ASICS
Why You Should Cop: ASICS closed out its 2024 run by again teaming up with HIDDEN.NY, offering its GEL-VENTURE 6 SHIELD silhouette as a canvas for collaboration. Now, the sneaker is back for the new year in a contrast-loaded “Black/Feather Grey” colorway. This iteration of the shoe begins with a black sole unit that then sees the dark hue cover the mudguard and heel counter. Above this rests a shade of light brown that breaks up the gloomy lower half with a mesh and synthetic build in “Feather Grey.”

Nike Sabrina 2 “Stronger Than Gold”

Release Date: March 6
Release Price: $130 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: We’re rapidly nearing the one-year anniversary of Sabrina Ionescu’s second signature shoe with the Swoosh — the Nike Sabrina 2. While we anxiously await what’s next for her successful shoe line, the Sabrina 2 has appeared in a new “Stronger Than Gold” iteration. The beloved model pays homage to a special Romanian bracelet that Ionescu’s mother gifted her. Key details include a monochromatic gold finish that sports shimmering finishes at the Swooshes, tongue’s “S” logo and the thematic dubrae.

Song for the Mute x adidas ADISTAR Cushion & Superstar 82

Release Date: March 7
Release Price: TBC
Where to Buy: Song for the Mute
Why You Should Cop: Song for the Mute’s partnership with adidas has explored new approaches to footwear with each chapter. For their latest campaign, the two have assembled their own takes on the ADISTAR Cushion and Superstar 82. The former leans on a more technical angle with nubuck suede and pony hair detailing accompanied by see-through open mesh. Its Three Stripes begin in suede at the lateral and transition to satin at the medial, adding depth via contrast. As for the Superstar 82s, each pair is inspired by pastoral life with colorways nodding to charred toast, fresh milk and goats. SFTM’s rebuild of the shoe features not only a rich composition of vegetable-tanned suede, full-grain leather and tonal hides, it also sports adidas’ first-ever custom-molded shell toe with a hidden SFTM insignia included.

thisisneverthat x New Balance 1000

Release Date: March 7
Release Price: $160 USD
Where to Buy: New Balance
Why You Should Cop: We first previewed the thisisneverthat x New Balance 1000 last October and now that we’re in March of 2025, it’s finally releasing. The eye-catching pair features a loose-gauge mesh at its base in white, pairing it with shimmering silver overlays and strong notes of orange. Aside from the typical New Balance branding — “N” logos at the midfoot, a “1000” callout at the forefoot, etc. — nods to thisisneverthat are delivered at the tongue, aglets and right shoe’s heel.

NOCTA x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Pink Foam”

Release Date: March 7
Release Price: $160 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: Valentine’s Day may be weeks in the past, but love is still in the air as Drake continues the rollout of his “Love You Forever” series of Nike Air Force 1s with a global launch of his “Pink Foam” colorway. Produced via his collaborative NOCTA line with the Swoosh, the pair appears in an all-pink presentation that is accented by a silver dubrae and carries NOCTA branding at not only the sockliner, but the left shoe’s heel tab as well. To top it all off, a plastic alphabet and number beads set offers plenty of room for personalization.

New Balance 1906R “Moon Sign”

Release Date: March 7
Release Price: $165 USD
Where to Buy: DTLR
Why You Should Cop: DTLR and New Balance have not only consistently dropped exclusive pairs together, but have done so with strong themes that bring excitement to the American sportswear brand’s silhouettes. This week they’re reconnecting to drop a “Moon Sign” version of the 1906R that is informed by astrology. It reflects this inspiration with a color palette that nods to power colors associated with different astrological signs as white, silver, yellow, red and several blue hues are present throughout its build.

Air Jordan 4 “Abundance”

Release Date: March 8
Release Price: $215 USD
Where to Buy: SNKRS
Why You Should Cop: 2024 may have been the year of the Air Jordan 4, but that doesn’t mean that Jordan Brand is taking its foot off the gas this year. Two major collaborations featuring the beloved silhouette are expected to arrive this month but before we focus on those looks, we first have a new “Abundance” colorway to evaluate. A soft “Seafoam” green adorns the upper of the shoe with silver metallic detailing nodding to 2005’s “Pure Money” colorway. Tonal Jumpman branding is present at the heel while the Air-backed sole unit features an all-white finish.

Apron Records x Nike Air 180

Release Date: March 8
Release Price: $150 USD
Where to Buy: TBC
Why You Should Cop: London-based record label Apron Records is set to debut its partnership with Nike by introducing not one, but two different colorways of the Air 180 silhouette. The special rendition of the shoe was teased last month in “Dark Atomic Teal” and later revealed to include a “Bloodline” pair that is limited to a mere 300 pairs as an exclusive to the UK. Both combine a shaggy base with leather overlays, favoring green and red respectively while chrome detailing hits the heel in differing tints of silver and rose.

BAPE x Crocs Classic Clog

Release Date: March 8
Release Price: TBC
Where to Buy: BAPE
Why You Should Cop: BAPE’s classic design elements and Crocs’ iconic Classic Clog make for a perfect combination. The duo have teamed up for the first time, applying BAPE’s “ABC Camo” to the upper of the slip-on in familiar colorways of green, blue and pink. From there, a range of Jibbitz charms include not only the APE HEAD and BABY MILO, but the SHARK, TIGER and “APE SHALL NEVER KILL APE” motifs are present as well for this exciting new campaign.
