Update: We’ve followed a long string of leaks highlighting A Ma Maniére’s latest take on the Air Jordan 5 and now it’s finally ready to release. The focal point of AMM and Jordan Brand’s “Act II: The Reclamation” campaign, this take on the Air Jordan 5 combines white with burgundy and black detailing, including subtle nods to the duo that we discussed previously below. Its launch is paired with a re-release of last month’s AMM x Nike Air Force 1 Low & Air Max 95 designs. A raffle for all three has opened via AMM and will close on July 21. The full collection drop is scheduled for July 25 at 11am EDT exclusively via AMM, with this Air Jordan 5 priced at $225 USD.

Update: A Ma Maniére is gearing up to drop two shoes with Nike tomorrow, again featuring the Air Max 95 and Air Force 1 Low. Another shoe that it is set to be revisiting this year is the Air Jordan 5. We previewed its “Violet Ore” colorway earlier this year and now have an on-foot preview of what to expect. As discussed previously below, a white leather upper is accompanied by maroon and off-white detailing. Release is anticipated to take place this summer via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $225 USD.

Update: As A Ma Maniére prepares its next collaboration with Jordan Brand — revisiting the Air Jordan 5 — additional early looks of the pair continue to reveal more details. As discussed in our breakdowns below, it features a new “Violet Ore” color scheme that pairs with white, burgundy and black. On top of the previously noted quilted lining, this new preview highlights its “A” branding at the tongue’s interior side — which nods to AMM on one shoe and Michael Jordan on the other — and the sockliner. Another detail highlighted here is its packaging, which seemingly nods to two separate themes at play — Michael Jordan as the GOAT and Juneteenth. Stay tuned for more details regarding the campaign messaging as the pair remains expected to drop via AMM, Nike SNKRS and select retailers on May 14 at a price of $225 USD.

Update: It’s been a few days since our first preview of this year’s A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 “Violet Ore” initially surfaced. Now, additional angles of the sneaker have been photographed, presenting a better look at what to expect from the sneaker. While many of these details were present in our previous discussion below, we now have confirmation that the tongue is maroon and features A Ma Maniére’s “A” logo on the left shoe. Meanwhile, the outsole of the right shoe hosts an “A” logo at the forefoot. Release remains expected to take place on May 14 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $225 USD.

Original Story: A Ma Maniére is one of the sneaker space’s most prominent collaborators. The Atlanta-based boutique dropped a three-brand, six-shoe “While You Were Sleeping” collection last year with Nike and its subsidiaries in celebration of its 10th anniversary and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Early looks and rumors surrounding new A Ma Maniére x Jordan Brand sneakers include the Air Jordan 3, 4, 5 and 6, with a first look at the brand’s Air Jordan 5 “Violet Ore” pair now surfacing. One of two pairs that are said to be dropping in the first half of the year, our single image preview of the sneaker — which is embedded below — begins with a white leather upper. From there, the heel sports Nike Air branding and a “23” hit at the lateral, both appearing in gray. Its signature “Violet Ore” hue — one we’ve seen used by the duo plenty of times in the past — hits the midsole and what looks to be a quilted lining. Black enters the mix at the laces and rear portion of the midsole while a semi-translucent outsole completes this initial preview.

At the time of writing, neither A Ma Maniére nor Jordan Brand have discussed the rollout of their two new takes on the Air Jordan 5. Look out for this “Violet Ore” colorway to arrive on May 14 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $225 USD and stay tuned for updates, including an official look at the sneaker.
