Converse Updates the Chuck 70 Bosey for "East Village Explorer" Pack
Water repellent and ready for winter.

Converse‘ historic Bosey wading boot silhouette has been reworked a multitude of times over the past decade, from Nigel Cabourn collaborations to various one-off sneakerboots. For Fall/Winter 2019, the model is set to return, utilizing two contemporary Converse models as the base.
Based upon the Chuck Taylor All-Star ‘70 and a sneakerboot style not dissimilar to JW Anderson’s Run Star Hike, the new “East Village Explorer” pack has two different types of Bosey shoes ideal for inclement weather. One model boasts a pale leather upper, with the Bosey’s signature ridged rubber sole unit providing stability and refined eyelets locking the wearer’s foot in place. Hi-vis yellow accents lend the shoe an extra touch of industrial design.
Both the Chuck 70 and ts counterpart, the MC High Top, are water repellent, but that’s wear the similarities end. The MC High Top boasts an olive canvas upper, complete with the classic Converse Chevron logo in black, with a meaty white midsole and sturdy black rubber outsole for maximum grip. Warm lining helps keep feet warm, while a pull tab on the tongue makes it easier to pull the sneaker on.

Most recently, Converse Japan updated the Chuck Taylor All-Star in partnership with PS Paul Smith.
