BEAMS Taps Champion for Cozy FW19 Layering Pieces
Fleece hoodies, Polartec pullovers and two-toned sweatpants.
Japanese retailer BEAMS and Champion are no stranger to collaboration, with the pair often joining forces for exclusive seasonal goods. Fall/Winter 2019 is no exception, with the Japanese branch of the American sportswear brand serving up a slew of bespoke goods for BEAMS, ranging from unique silhouettes to classic pieces with a contemporary upgrade.
Mens’ and womens’ items are both on hand, with RAY BEAMS offering a special Reverse-Weave fleece pullover upgraded with adjustable snaps on the side and shoulders, complete with oversized Champion logo on the back. The mens’ version is a furry zip-up hoodie in the same shades, boasting a slouchy cut to complement the plush textile. Other menswear exclusives include pullover sweaters that offer with small Champion branding, Polartec lining, pockets and zippered hems, relaxed-cut Reverse-Weave hoodies with snap buttons at the neck and two-toned sweatpants. Finally, understated Reverse-Weave cardigans and vests offer more sophisticated layering options for the upcoming cold weather.
The exclusive Champion items are available for pre-order on BEAMS’ web store, most of which are expected to drop throughout October and November.
