ADER ERROR is once again teaming up with Converse, bringing their signature deconstructed aesthetic to two distinct silhouettes: the Chuck 70 Ox and the Wave Trainer. This latest collaboration follows their successful debut partnership in 2022, which introduced a reimagined Chuck 70.
Departing from their previous intricate designs, ADER ERROR presents a clean white canvas upper for their latest Chuck 70 Ox iteration. While embracing minimalism, the sneaker incorporates pre-scuffed black-stained midsoles, mimicking the natural wear of well-loved Converse sneakers. Adding a unique twist, the ADER ERROR four-block logo appears on the lateral heel, as well as on a tag-like design embedded into the midsole. Additionally, the classic Converse circular logo is replaced with an ADER ERROR emblem, while abstract stitch patterns and a tucked-in Converse medallion further elevate its aesthetic.
For their first-ever collaboration on the Wave Trainer, ADER ERROR applies their trademark royal blue detailing and distressed midsole treatment to this archival silhouette. The upper is constructed with shaggy textures, suede and mesh, creating a layered look. While royal blue remains the brand’s signature color, various shades of blue appear throughout the upper, adding depth to the design. A standout feature is the removable ankle shroud, which mimics the signature folded-down look of the high-top Chuck Taylor, adding a functional yet stylish touch.
