BOSS To Sponsor Art Basel Awards
The program will highlight artists across all stages of their careers as well as curators, benefactors, and industry patrons.

The fashion and art worlds have long been intertwined, particularly when it comes to Art Basel. This year, BOSS has announced that it will partner with the organization to present the first-ever Art Basel Awards.
BOSS aims to channel their own innovative ethos to support the next generation of visionary artistic voices. “We are excited to continue driving innovation in the arts and its related fields. With its premium positioning, global relevance, and pioneering spirit, we believe Art Basel is the perfect partner for this endeavor,” said Daniel Grieder, CEO of Hugo Boss in a statement.
The awards committee will be chaired by Vincenzo de Bellis, Art Basel’s Director of Fairs and Exhibition Platforms, alongside a jury of experts. The panel will undergo intense peer-to-peer review processes and will select a total of 36 award recipients The awards will seek to cultivate and promote international artists across all stages of their careers. Categories will include emerging talents, established mid-career artists, and legendary icons. Non-artist categories will highlight significant contributions to the industry made by patrons, curators, museums, cross-disciplinary creatives, and behind-the-scenes allies.
The award recipients will be announced in May and celebrated during a reception at Art Basel Switzerland from June 19-22. 12 Gold Medalists will also be honored during an immersive celebration at Art Basel Miami in December of this year. You can follow along at Hypebeast for more updates.
