Metalwood Studio Reveals Its SS25 Lookbook
Treading the line between golf and fashion.
Since its inception Metalwood Studio has always tread the line carefully between its golf roots and fashion influences, but the last few seasons have revealed where founder Cole Young‘s heart really lies. Because while the LA-based brand continues to explore its connection to golf through collaborations with the likes of Maxfli and FootJoy, its seasonal releases are pushed towards the fashion crowd who are more likely to attend Paris Fashion Week than the PGA trade show. Metalwood’s latest SS25 collection, set to release tomorrow, continues this narrative.
In typical form, the 16-piece collection consists of everyday wardrobe staples like fleece jackets, heavyweight cotton hoodies and rugged canvas vests on one hand, and classic golf attire such as long sleeve polos and leather belts on the other. The hunting vests are obvious contenders for a quick sellout given the way the public has embraced anything with camo and the Metalwood logo on it, but the polos are likely to take off as well with a quintessential “favorite shirt you found at the vintage store” kind of quality. Elsewhere, Metalwood’s signature playful graphics will make a smart addition to any t-shirt lineup, and the relaxed fit, pleated trousers hark to the early 2000s.
