Building on its celebratory capsule earlier this month, The North Face is keeping the party alive for the 40th anniversary of its classic Mountain Jacket—a bonafide cornerstone of the alpine explorer’s wardrobe—with a legacy-lauding 2025 “Mountain Jacket” collection and an all-new campaign starring BRIT award-winning pop musician Griff.

Nodding to the classic coat’s history (which notably includes collaborations with the likes of Supreme, MM6 Maison Margiela, and KAWS throughout the 2010s), this latest line advances the Mountain Jacket’s protection, sustainability, and performance with two standout models: the Mountain Jacket DRYVENT™ Mono and the Mountain Jacket GORE-TEX®.

The former silhouette features a waterproof, seam-sealed and mono-material construction made with a 100% recycled 2L DRYVENT™ fabric, while the latter jacket is fitted with GORE-TEX® waterproofing, pit zips and alpine pockets for maximal performance on the mountains.

Griff fronts the monumental 2025 Mountain Jacket campaign alongside snowboarder Blake Paul and freeride skiier Dennis Ranalter (both The North Face athletes).

“Just like music, it’s just as important to me to express myself through fashion and the clothes I wear,” Griff said in a statement. “Having the opportunity to work with an iconic brand like The North Face and being a part of the global campaign for the 40th anniversary of the Mountain Jacket has been amazing.”

The North Face’s 2025 Mountain Jacket collection is now available to shop online and in select retail locations. Take a look at the lineup in the gallery above.
