The North Face Celebrates 40 Years of the Mountain Jacket With Limited Edition Capsule

The North Face has unveiled a limited-edition capsule to celebrate its quintessential Mountain Jacket, marking 40 years of reliable protection and design innovation. Introducing four limited-edition styles, the label utilizes its popular DRYVENT and WINDWALL fabric technologies with new colors and patterns.
Known for its distinct color-block design, originally introduced to strengthen the garment’s construction, the Mountain Jacket has served wearers for decades with its weather-proof functionality and cutting-edge style brought by collaborations including Supreme, MM6 Maison Margiela and KAWS.
Leading the line-up of updated variants is the DRYVENT Mono Mountain Jacket, made in a futuristic topographic print, combining geometric grids and icy camouflage in two tones. The fully seam-sealed, single-layer construction gives wearers waterproof and windproof protection, as well as top-notch durability. Compatible with the brand’s Zip-in system, the jacket can be integrated with the classic NUPTSE down jacket and Denali jacket for additional layers.
For the Mountain Wind Jacket, The North Face utilizes its innovative WINDWALL technology for advanced wind protection, whether on the streets or the trails. Shown in a periwinkle blue and a brown reminiscent of PANTONE’s Mocha Mouse color of the year, the brand pays homage to the original solid colorways that the style is known for with a refreshed color palette.
The 40th Anniversary Mountain Jacket Collection is available today at The North Face Concept Stores and standard North Face stores in the Asia-Pacific region.
