Nigel Cabourn and Converse present a closer look at their collaborative capsule collection of footwear for Spring/Summer 2013. Taking inspiration from heritage military footwear, the collection includes takes on the Chuck Taylor All Star Bosey as well as a brand new silhouette – the Chuck Taylor All Star Specialty Plimsole. While the Bosey editions of the high-top classic boast water-resistant Ventile uppers and militaristic hues of navy and olive drab, the Specialty Plimsole is a hybrid silhouette of sorts and pairs typical Converse design cues with those of a British P.E. training shoe that dates back to 1941. Crafted from high-grade Italian denim and lined in canvas, the Plimsole comes complete with a rugged traction outsole and durable toecap. The Nigel Cabourn for Converse 2013 capsule collection drops on April 11 at End Hunting Co. in the UK.
