Following a preview of the issue via a behind-the-scenes video with RiFF RaFF, ACCLAIM Magazine presents a further look at the 29th issue of the publication. Focusing on the theme of “Authenticity” and its relevance in the digital age, the issue explores the worlds of art, design, music and style as it embarks on a quest to define what is truly “authentic.” While some highlights include pieces on Henry Chalfant – the director of the seminal graffiti documentary Style Wars – and South Central Los Angeles drug kingpin “Freeway” Ricky Ross, the latest issue of ACCLAIM sees three different cover stars – RiFF RaFF, Chippy Nonstop and designer/Kith founder Ronnie Fieg. Created in conjunction with this year’s Carbon Festival in Melbourne (at which Fieg will be a guest speaker), Fieg’s limited edition cover for the “Authenticity” issue is available to pre-order for $10 USD while the interview – touching on everything from his time as a stock boy at David Z to apparel design, New York City manufacturing and more – can be read online in its entirety.
