When it comes to billionaires, their net worths go hand-in-hand with their global influence. Their net worths have stretched across ten figures and this year, Forbes has officially released its list of richest celebrity billionaires.

With a list ranging from filmmakers to actors to musicians to athletes and more, Steven Spielberg leads the list with a net worth of $5.3 billion USD. With a wide range of cinematic successes from Jaws, E.T., Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park, his fortune has long been secured, first appearing on Forbes‘ list back in 2021. Additionally, Spielberg earns 2% of ticket sales at Universal theme parks in perpetuity. Coming up right behind him at $5.1 billion USD is fellow filmmaker George Lucas. Known for the Star Wars franchise, his Disney and LucasFilm IPs have garnered him $4 billion USD in cash and stock when he sold Star Wars in 2012. Michael Jordan comes in third with $3.5 billion USD, making him the first athlete to rank on the list. He was the first-ever billionaire athlete, making the bulk of his fortune through his Jordan Brand partnership and royalties.

Other notable billionaire celebrities include JAY-Z with $2.5 billion USD. His vast business portfolio includes music assets as well as his champagne brand Armand de Brignac and his cognac label D’Usse. He also has a stake in Uber and has a prolific art collection that includes several Basquiat pieces. Additionally, athletes including Magic Johnson, Tiger Woods and LeBron James are also on the list. Kim Kardashian makes it on the list with a net worth of $1.7 billion USD for her Skims and SKKN By Kim brands. Taylor Swift achieved billionaire status in 2023 and continues to reign with a $1.6 billion USD net worth made up of her music catalog. Tyler Perry, Rihanna, Bruce Springsteen, Dick Wolf, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jerry Seinfeld round out the list.
