Update: This year’s “Dongdan” collection from Jordan Brand will feature the Air Jordan 1 Low, with the sneaker first being previewed last week. It’s said to be joining an Air Jordan 13 Low that also sports the theme, one that nods to the Dongdan streetball court in Beijing. We now have a set of official imagery highlighting the brown and white pair. We remain without a firm release date, however, look for this colorway to arrive during the summertime via Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Original Story: Jordan Brand is paying tribute to Beijing’s legendary Dongdan streetball court with the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Low “Dongdan.”
Crafted from smooth white leather, soft beige suede and tan leather, the sneaker strikes a perfect balance of texture and contrast. The muted tan Swoosh and heel panels further refine the design, reflecting the harmonious yet competitive spirit of Dongdan’s streetball culture.
Beyond its premium materials, the Air Jordan 1 Low “Dongdan” weaves in thoughtful storytelling elements. The inner tongue features woven tags embroidered with “IN ONE’S ELEMENT” and “Beijing, China” in gold, while the front of the tongue showcases the tournament’s logo. Additionally, the heels feature mismatched branding – the left shoe displays the iconic Air Jordan Wings logo, while the right boasts a custom Dongdan emblem, reinforcing its connection to the historic court.
