Converse Japan Celebrates 'Doraemon' With Four Thematic All Star Colorways

Converse Japan is back with another exciting collaboration, this time tapping the Doraemon franchise, which is celebrating its 55th anniversary, for four new takes on the All Star sneaker.
Kicking off the lineup of high-tops is a mismatched colorway with Doraemon depicted at the lateral, showcasing his face on the left shoe. Its upper toggles between blue at the lateral and pink at the medial as off-white covers the remainder of the shoe. The “Off-White” version replicates this approach, foregoing the use of colorful bases in favor of an all-cream base. From there, another “Off-White” offering sees panels from the manga spread across the upper in black and white. A similar approach is utilized with the “Multi” version, which hosts colorful artwork of the manga present throughout its upper. Each pair sports co-branding at the tongue tag and sockliner, as well as on the special box.
All four Doraemon x Converse Japan All Star colorways will be dropping on April 30 via Converse Japan. Prices start at ¥12,100 JPY (approx. $85 USD) for the first two pairs pictured above and go up to ¥14,300 JPY (approx. $100 USD) for the latter two. The duo has also prepared backpacks and tote bags to accompany the launch.
