atmos just celebrated its 25th anniversary by hosting atmoscon — Japan’s largest sneaker event of the year. Of the many festivities involved, various apparel and footwear collaborations involving the brand were exclusively launched there, with some now being readied for a wider release. One such project is an atmos x BAPE x adidas SSTAR V “G-SNK.”
BAPE just teamed up with adidas to rework the Superstar in two new colorways and has assembled a third with the help of atmos. The same ABC SOLID CAMO embossing returns to the upper, combining with BAPE STA and Three Stripes branding, a golden co-branded dubrae, and a foil APE HEAD in gold as well. The aforementioned BAPE STA and Three Stripes elements feature atmos’ “G-SNK” treatment — a snakeskin-inspired texture that also glows in the dark.
For those looking to pick up this new atmos x BAPE x adidas SSTAR V “G-SNK” pair, it is set to drop on May 3 via atmos. A web lottery will be taking place and opens later today, with pairs priced at ¥27,500 JPY (approx. $193 USD).
