Pharrell's Louis Vuitton Is Cruising From Paris to Miami, of Course
For Pre-Fall 2025, the menswear visionary (and Magic City stalwart) is taking the Parisian House on vacation in the 305.
Pharrell loves Miami. In fact, when the Louis Vuitton Men’s artistic director opened his Billionaire Boys Club flagship in the Floridian capital in 2022, he told Hypebeast, “There’s no other place like Miami in the world.” So, it’s only natural that the Magic City aficionado designed LV’s Pre-Fall 2025 menswear collection around the idea of a cross-continental cruise from Paris to the 305.
For those curious, Pharrell’s Miami lore runs particularly deep: In 2018, Pharrell opened a two-floor, 13,500-square-foot dining haven called Swan in the city’s Design District; two years later, the megaproducer purchased a $30 million USD mansion that spans 3.3 acres in the waterfront town of Coral Gables; and in 2021, he opened The Goodtime Hotel in South Beach with hospitality maven David Grutman. Then, of course, there was the BBC shop’s opening; and while running his coastal empire, he’s frequently been spotted rolling through the city in his Tesla Cybertruck (This recap would be remiss without mention of Skateboard P’s hilarious attempt to parallel park the gargantuan vehicle outside Louis Vuitton’s Miami store last year.)
All that’s to say, Pharrell is extremely familiar with what Miami’s luxury shoppers want — and his latest output at LV should satiate their cravings. To be clear, this is not the garb you’d see on Club Space’s head-bumpers ’til the wee hours of the morning; rather, this is the wardrobe for Miami’s yacht owners, sports-car enthusiasts, Swan diners, and Goodtime vacationers. Adapting to the “dandy’s voyage from the sea to the sand,” the collection unfolds in two chapters: “Transit” and “Arrival.”

The “Transit” line abides by the typical cruiser line dress code, with Monogram Regatta-printed nylon windbreakers, sporty driving jackets, three-piece dandy suits, and shawl-collared eveningwear, among other tailored silhouettes. The “Arrival” collection, meanwhile, is built for lounging by the pool, with French terry towel robes, aqua bowling sets, striped shirts, and shorts — all with resort-inspired motifs.
Fresh leather trunks employ aged tan VVT sfumato trims, introduced by Pharrell, and the Monogram Heritage motif, which appears here in a nautical finish. Sailor berets and pearl denim baseball caps make the brand’s sartorial voyage feel all the more real, as do ship-rope-inspired chains and bracelets. Rounding out the range, several LV footwear stalwarts — the Scala, Easy Mule, Footprint, and Venice models included — receive vacation-minded renovations.
