Update: We previewed a new BAPE x adidas Superstar collaboration earlier this month, showcasing two of the upcoming campaign’s colorways. Now, the brands have officially presented the Superstar Pack featuring the “SSTR V” sneaker — building atop the Superstar with ABC SOLID CAMO embossing, BAPE STA and Three Stripes branding, a gold dubrae, and a golden foil APE HEAD at the lateral heel. Joining the kicks is a complementary apparel range that begins with adidas’ iconic Firebird Tracksuits in black and red plus blue and white versions that feature ABC SOLID CAMO. A special edition Trefoil shark hoodie is also present with a co-branded tee, hat, socks, and embossed ABC SOLID CAMO side bag rounding out the collection. Release takes place on April 5 via BAPE, adidas, and select retailers with the shoes priced at $160 USD each. Original Story: BAPE and adidas’ long-standing partnership has led to many special footwear collaborations. In the duo’s multi-decade time working together, the Superstar has been flipped in various different ways, including a BOOST-equipped version made alongside fellow Japanese label NEIGHBORHOOD.

Now, the duo of BAPE and adidas are back with another take on the shell toe sneaker, preparing it in colorways of “Footwear White” and “Blue.” Both versions of the sneaker feature the BAPE STA motif at the right side of the shoe and the Three Stripes on the left, sporting a patent leather in black and white respectively. A co-branded golden dubrae matches the lateral heel’s foil APE HEAD branding. Rounding out the pair is a plain off-white sole unit and embossed camo pattern across the base of the leather upper.
At the time of writing, neither BAPE nor adidas have confirmed when their latest takes on the Superstar silhouette will be launching. Stay tuned for updates as we currently expect both the “Footwear White” and “Blue” colorways to drop simultaneously later this season via both BAPE and adidas.
