Jacquemus Cuts the Ribbon on "The Los Angeles Boutique"
Located in the SoCal city’s West Hollywood neighborhood, the 255-square-meter shop is designed like a rustic home with a collector’s spirit.
Jacquemus has found a permanent home in Los Angeles.
The Simon Porte Jacquemus-led shop has officially opened “The Los Angeles Boutique,” a brand-new shop in the SoCal city’s West Hollywood neighborhood that’s designed like a rustic home with a collector’s spirit. Olive trees and lavender welcome guests into the store, which houses 255 square meters of space across one floor. In an official release, the label compares the outpost to Simon’s office at the brand’s Paris headquarters, calling it “intimate and generous.”
Inside, terracotta brick floors complement limestone clay stucco walls, while 10-meter yellow linen couches become centerpieces in the middle of the room. Small antique vases, Jean Royére Chaise Croisillons, mid-century candelabras, specially-commissioned ceramic pieces, Brutalist stools from Spain, and a Frank Lloyd Wright table lamp round out the shop’s eclectic interior design details — all of which are reflections of Simon’s obsessions, “a self-contained world to discover,” per the brand.
To celebrate the store’s opening, Jacquemus is selling “Yellow Flower Bouquet” and “Fresh Banana Ice Cream” tickets to a pop-up market at the store, which will be open from April 24 to 27. Notably, some tickets will include a big-buck voucher that can be exchanged for the brand’s signature yellow pieces, including the Rond Carré clutch and, yes, the newly debuted “La Bateau” Timberlands.
