One of the breakout stories from 2025 NBA All-Star Weekend was Nike Basketball’s unveiling of the all-new GT Future sneaker. Adding to its “Greater Than” series of performance hoops silhouettes, the GT Future seemingly draws inspiration from both the Zoom Hyperflight and Air Foamposite One with its sculpted structure. Wale’s been spearheading the campaign of early looks, offering previews of everything from a reflective teal pair to a “Volt” finish.

A “Copper Egg” version of the GT Future caught the eyes of fans during NBA All-Star Weekend. Now, a set of detailed shots featuring the upcoming colorway has been shared, offering us our best look at the sneaker yet. Its sleek “shell” sees the metallic bronze hue spread across it while black Swooshes are situated at each side of the shoe, matching the outsole and lining. The tongue favors a textured gray while hosting silver Swooshes, completing this early preview of the shoe.

At the time of writing, Nike Basketball has not yet announced when the GT Future will be making its retail debut, nor has it discussed its release plans for this “Copper Egg” colorway. Stay tuned for updates, including an official look at the sneaker, as we expect it to launch this holiday season via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $190 USD.
