Kali Uchis Unveils First Single From Forthcoming Studio Album
“Sunshine & Rain…” ushers in the ‘Sincerely,’ rollout.
After confirming her fifth studio album was in the works two weeks ago via Instagram, Kali Uchis has unveiled the lead single from her imminent LP Sincerely,.
For the first offering lifted from the LP’s tracklist, Uchis offers up a serene lead single entitled “Sunshine & Rain…” which arrives as an alluring introduction to her forthcoming project.
Reflective and refreshing, “Sunshine & Rain…” hears Uchis croon “I just had an epiphany” on the pre-chorus. “Through sunshine and rain, as seasons change / We all need somebody that makes the Earth feel heavenly / Maybe I’ll be that somebody ’cause you’re that someone to me,” she continues on the song’s chorus.

Still a little over a month away, Sincerely,‘s details still remain under wraps, but Apple Music indicates the LP will round out at 14 songs, with “Sunshine & Rain…” landing as number 13. Stream “Sunshine & Rain…” on all streaming platforms now and expect Sincerely, to drop on DSPs on Friday, May 9.
