A.P.C.'s ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 Collaboration Arrives Next Week

Update: We caught a first look at an A.P.C. x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 collaboration to close out 2024. Now, the two have officially announced that their newest collection is due to drop early next month. While no product reveals are included in the trailer embedded below, new imagery of the kicks have surfaced elsewhere, unveiling a second colorway in blue. As noted in our previous breakdown, both pairs carry a white midsole that is backed by a gum outsole. They also carry co-branding at the heel and sockliner. The heel detail notably sees the “A.P.C.” wordmark’s “A” swapped for ASICS’ “A” logo. Looking at the trailer, a pile of digital co-branded tennis balls fall into frame, with the ASICS Tennis account present as one of four collaborators involved with the post. Considering that the sneaker is not directly related to the sport, it’s possible that more collaborative items will be dropping. Stay tuned for more details regarding the campaign as both colorways of the A.P.C. x ASICS GEL-KAYANO 14 are expected to drop on April 5 via A.P.C. and HBX at a starting price of $180 USD.

Original Story: ASICS and A.P.C. are already getting ready for new spring 2025 collaborative release. Taking to footwear, the two brands join forces once again, this time for a pair of GEL-KAYANO 14. The classic silhouette takes on a minimalistic approach, arriving in a predominantly white color palette throughout. The shoe is constructed out with a mesh upper for added breathability. Hints of silver hit the Tiger stripes as it sits atop GEL pods for added comfort. The A.P.C. branding is seen on the insoles and the heel as the rest of the shoe sits on a gum outsole to round out the design. Instagram account @thedropdate is the first to reveal the shoe.
