Salomon’s XT-Whisper is getting a jolt of vivacious color. Come April 1, the decades-old silhouette will be available in five new “Energy” hues, as the technical footwear titan continues to push the silhouette to flagship model status.
Those colors span “Fairytale” and “Shortbread” to “Henna,” “Iced Aqua,” and “Ftw Silver.” All of them decorate the newly upgraded silhouette, which boasts a textural upper, a signature wavy Sensifit™ application, Quicklace technology, and a snug fit.

Salomon’s XT-Whisper originally debuted back in 2009 as the women’s version of the label’s XT Hawk trail shoe. However, since bringing the archival model back to market, Salomon has revamped the XT-Whisper as a unisex model, available in both men’s and women’s sizes.
In January, Salomon tapped Sandy Liang to remake the updated sneaker in “Fairy Tale/Ftw Silver/White.” Last month, the footwear label linked with Kith to create two new collaborative colorways for the shoe.
Salomon will release the XT-Whisper in five new Energy colorways online and via select retail partners on April 1. Take a look at the lineup in the gallery above.
