After celebrating its 99th anniversary earlier this year, Iceland-born label 66°North is continuing to expand its collaborative front alongside brand ambassador Chris Burkard. The American landscape photographer focuses on his love for the great outdoors, designing an eight-piece hiking collection ideal for uphill climbs.
Burkard has worked closely with 66°North’s design team to create a resistant offering of alfresco staples. The “Ljó́súfjöll” capsule keeps functionality and durability at the forefront, seeing Burkard test each item on his personal adventures. The range includes several jackets, hoodies, trousers, and shorts crafted from robust materials, taking inspiration from boundless expressions of movement.
The collection is made for all seasons, bracing you against cold snaps, light spring rain, and anything in between. The jackets are crafted from recycled textiles, featuring dynamic zippers and protective collars. Hoodies arrive with sturdy builds, while the Hengill pants and shorts will surely become your new hiking buddies.
