Playboi Carti Reveals 'MUSIC - SORRY 4 DA WAIT'
Tacking on four new songs to the end of the album.
We can’t believe we’re writing this either, but Playboi Carti actually dropped the deluxe. After ensuring the extended edition of MUSIC was on the way via Instagram, today, the rapper surprised fans when he actually kept his word and revealed the deluxe version of the long-delayed album, which comes aptly entitled: MUSIC – SORRY 4 DA WAIT.
Carti tacks on four new songs to the end of the OG MUSIC album’s tracklist, which now totals 34 tracks. Leaks “DIFFERENT DAY,” “2024,” “BACKR00MS” with Travis Scott and “FOMDJ” are all added on to the project after the original version’s final song “SOUTH ATLANTA BABY.”
He initially dropped off “2024” on his YouTube channel in December of 2023, while the Scott-featuring “BACKR00MS” came in January 2024 (also as a YouTube exclusive). Fans were disappointed not to see the aforementioned tracks make the final cut of MUSIC, so needless to say, the SORRY 4 DA WAIT tracklist filled that void.
Alongside the extended version of the project, Carti also unveiled the official visualizer for “FOMDJ.”
The album’s deluxe arrives after a big few weeks for Carti, whose MUSIC landed the highest debut of 2025 so far, and the seventh-highest first-day debut of all time.
