Tokyo-based Nanamica has teamed up with Munich’s A Kind of Guise, known for its commitment to German manufacturing and premium materials, to release a minimal yet practical collection. A playful narrative, centered around a stylish Tokyo dog walker, introduces the collection, illustrating how the functional beauty of the garments naturally aligns with the rhythm of everyday urban life.

Items in the line-up include a Leather Jacket, a GORE-TEX Crew Jacket, a Derbin Shirt, an Insulation Shirt, Insulation Pants, a Shoulder Bag and a Boston Bag. The standout item is the leather jacket, a modern, utility-focused reimagining of a vintage German military blouson. It features Nanamica’s signature Coolmax cotton house check pattern for the lining as well. Another highlight is the Derbin shirt, which showcases a hand-printed paisley pattern. Each of these shirts is naturally air-dried in the sunlight, giving it a unique finish with subtle variations.

The Nanamica x A Kind Of Guise collection is priced between ¥23,100 JPY and ¥253,000 JPY (approx. $150 USD to $1,620 USD). The items will be available starting December 4 through Nanamica’s and A Kind Of Guise’s websites and at their selected retail locations.
