JJJJound and New Balance have had a quiet year after a hot start to 2025 with the introduction of their 993 “Mushroom” sneaker back in January. However, this is about to change as the two are closing out the year with another 990v4 campaign, their second to date after offering a “Navy” pair back in 2021.
The duo’s “Mushroom” legacy continues as the calm composition now graces the MADE in USA line’s version of the 990v4. Not only has this approach been employed across the aforementioned 993, before that it landed on the 990v3, 992, and 991. Our limited preview of the 990v4 pair sees it employ a mixed material build with the “Mushroom” brown joined by notes of olive, white, gray, and black.
While many JJJJound x New Balance sneakers have been difficult to cop over the years. This one will be a breeze, for anyone with some patience that is.
