Following the most recent teaser, JJJJound has now given an official look at its upcoming New Balance 990v4 collaboration. For this release, the Canadian label has dressed the sneaker in an all-navy colorway, as well as technical details that help to elevate the silhouette.

The sneaker’s upper is constructed from nubuck and mesh, creating a contrast between textures in order to draw attention to the subtle colorway. Other features include 3M detailing, a reflective set of secondary laces and a logo-molded toggle, inspired by the 990 line’s functional origins as a running sneaker in the 1980s. The JJJJound x New Balance 990v4 design is finished with JJJJound branding on the heel and footbed, as well as New Balance’s signature “N” logo and tongue tag.

The latest collaboration from JJJJound and New Balance is due to release via the JJJJound web store on October 14, before arriving at select stockists in the near future.
