Has Nike SB created a true successor to the SB Dunk? It’s no secret that the Swoosh’s skate division has leaned heavily on the SB Dunk to drive revenue in recent years. Nike SB has looked to replicate some of the same success it found with creating a skate version of the Dunk by collaborating with Jordan Brand on the Air Jordan 4 and dropping the Nike SB Air Max 95 earlier this year.

Looking ahead to 2026, it looks like a Nike SB-designed take on the Air Force 1 is set to make waves. Rumors surrounding the project, including a sample pair, have floated around in recent years, with a recent report regarding a Yuto Horigome-based pair popping up just weeks ago. Now, one of the model’s debut looks has surfaced, a “Flax” version of the shoe. The golden brown color has struck the AF1 many times over the years and will make its way onto the Nike SB AF1. While we don’t know its technical specifications just yet, the shoe notably sports Nike SB branding at both the heel tab and tongue tag.

At the time of writing, the Nike SB team has not announced its version of the Air Force 1 Low yet. Stay tuned for updates, including official details regarding what sets this sneaker apart from the standard AF1 build, as we currently expect this “Flax” version of the sneaker to arrive next spring via Nike SNKRS and select skate shops.
