Venice Beach designer Eli Russell Linnetz is marking the next step in his brand’s evolution with the debut of a new footwear silhouette: the ERL Vamp Boots.
The VAMP Boot is a unique merger of comfort, technical innovation, and avant-garde aesthetics. It rises just above the ankle in a single, uninterrupted fluid form, crafted entirely from plush cowhide suede. Inside, the boots are lined with soft California shearling, ensuring an enveloping sense of warmth and weightless comfort that captures the laid-back luxury of the West Coast.
Underneath the minimalist suede exterior, a semi-transparent gum sole provides a subtle, branded element by revealing the ERL logo. Linnetz’s attention to detail extends to the packaging: the boots arrive in boxes made from the same corrugated material used by the US Postal Service, transparently showing the interior wrapping printed with archival images from 1970s Venice Beach underground newspapers.
The VAMP Boots are priced at $585 USD and will launch in two colorways, Pirate Black and Natural, available exclusively at ERL.STORE in men’s sizes 8-13. This sculptural design, defined by its seamless, continuous form, will be available starting Thursday, October 23 at 8:30 a.m. PST.
