Prada Taps Harris Dickinson as the “Protagonist” for SS25 Campaign
Shot by Steven Meisel, the ‘Babygirl’ lead actor is dressed effortless numbers from Prada’s latest menswear offering.
To showcase the brand’s Spring Summer 2025 collection, Prada has enlisted actor Harris Dickinson for a campaign shot by Steven Meisel.
The Babygirl lead actor is portrayed casually with naturalistic details like half-popped collars and haphazard tucks. The pointedly everyday sensibilities of the looks allow the actor’s character to shine through, highlighting individual expression over loud branding.
The campaign is dominated by minimalistic styling, best demonstrated in a black camp collar shirt with black pleated trousers and loafers. Another look recalls the office-appropriate costume design of Babygirl with a light blue long-sleeve shirt and black trousers, accessorized by an oversized distressed leather handbag.
Elsewhere, the actor is seen in vintage-leaning looks reminiscent of the 1970s. A brown V-neck sweater evoking Pantone’s color of the year “Mocha Mousse” is worn over a green and yellow floral shirt with slim trousers. In another look, Dickinson wears a shiny leather overcoat with a grey v-neck sweater, taupe boot-cut trousers, and yellow sneakers.
Another distressed leather bag is showcased in an ultra-layered number comprising a tan overcoat, a burgundy v-neck sweater, and white high-water cargo pants. Standing out from the look are patent leather monk shoes with prominent fringe details.
