Closer Look at the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME x New Balance 509 FW25 Collaboration
Arriving in two classic colorways.
COMME des GARÇONS HOMME took to Paris Fashion Week this Fall/Winter 2025 to reveal an all new collaboration with New Balance.
While it was not revealed on the runway, CDGH’s presentation previewed the upcoming footwear for the brand. The collaborations run from Nike to ASICS to New Balance. With the New Balance pairs, CDGH has revamped the 509 silhouette. Arriving in two colors, the 509 is one of New Balance’s latest footwear releases inspired by running silhouettes of the 2000s. The inline model was first introduced in Fall/Winter 2024.
The collaboration marks a special edition release that sees CDGH refine its vision on footwear collaborations. Arriving in a white and grey colorway, the shoe’s upper is designed with a synthetic leather upper throughout. To further refine the silhouette, CDGH is seen to remove certain parts of the upper panel construction for a more sleek look. Sitting atop rubber outsoles and slated to arrive in customized shoe boxes, the COMME des GARÇONS HOMME x New Balance 509 shoes are set to launch in late 2025.
