Ye Drops Visuals for "FRIED"
The first official visual from the album.
After beginning to roll out the deluxe iteration of VULTURES 2 yesterday – more new songs are presumably set to “be published in real-time,” per the Yeezy website – Ye has unleashed the first official visual from he and Ty Dolla $ign‘s VULTURES follow-up project. The first VULTURES 2 music video arrives to complement the fan-favorite cut, “FRIED.”
The two-and-a-half-minute-long track’s visual remains simple in its form and clean in its visual, animated aesthetic. “FRIED”‘s music video follows a large group of masked individuals – who each don a black hoodie (hood up) and black pants – as they run around a supremely Ye-coded gray, concrete landscape, its layout defined by geometric structures and walls.
“I done had too many friends that died / Sometimes, I can’t believe I’m still alive / She told you I ain’t had it, but she lied,” Ye delivers on the first verse. “Boy, don’t play with me, you know I’m fried.”
