Update: Copenhagen-based retailer NAKED has once again teamed up with adidas, crafting not only a lace-equipped Tischtennis that we covered previously below, but a similar rendition of the Samba as well. Both pairs leverage white uppers with lace detailing while pairing it with two different gum soles. The initial pre-release for the project has already taken place, with both pairs selling out. However, a global launch is scheduled for September 13 with the Tischtennis priced at $130 USD and the Samba priced at $140 USD.

Original Story: Originally crafted for elite athletes, the adidas Tischtennis has since evolved into a symbol for free-spirited style. This iconic sneaker now receives a feminine makeover through a collaboration with NAKED. The classic mesh upper is replaced with intricate lace, offering a delicate and airy aesthetic while maintaining the shoe’s lightweight, low-profile design. Premium suede accents and nylon 3-stripes pay homage to the model’s retro roots.
This reimagined version features a pristine white lace upper, complemented by cream-colored tongue and laces for a subtle contrast. The gum rubber outsole provides durability and traction, while the textile lining ensures all-day comfort.
