Update: Ever since another Off-White™ x Air Jordan 1 High OG release was rumored in August of last year, sneakerheads have been eager to learn more. While first reported as the “Canary Yellow” colorway finally releasing, this info was later discarded. Now, the latest report from SneakerMarketRO indicates that it will arrive in a “White/White” composition that has been referred to as the “Alaska” colorway. Based on this, it’s possible that the all-white Europe-exclusive from 2018 will be making its return. However, we still await confirmation and a first look. We currently expect this much-anticipated sneaker to drop by the end of the year via Nike SNKRS and select retailers. Stay tuned for more updates and revisit our previous breakdowns below for a complete timeline of this rumor.

Update: Word of the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Canary Yellow” finally dropping in 2025 had many sneakerheads excited back in August, and while that rumor ended up being debunked, it looks like an Off-White™ x Air Jordan 1 High OG will be releasing after all. Confirmed via a report by EldenMonitors and SneakerMarketRO, we have a style code for the project: AA3834-100. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at the pair, as it’s sure to be one of the year’s biggest sneaker releases in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1.

Original Story: One of the most legendary sneakers to release in the past 10 years is the Off-White™ x Air Jordan 1 High OG. Arriving initially in a “Chicago” colorway as part of Virgil Abloh’s “THE TEN” collection — one that is rumored to return in 2027 for its 10th anniversary — the deconstructed take on the AJ1 was revisited twice in 2018, dropping in an EU-exclusive “White” and a “UNC” colorway too.

As 2019 came to a close, a fourth “Canary Yellow” take on the sneaker popped up, with a rumor release date for 2020. Ultimately, the sneaker did not end up dropping and has remained a coveted grail, with just a small batch of pairs in circulation. However, that may change next year as EldenMonitors, House of Heat and FitDadAK have reported that the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Canary Yellow” is expected to drop in 2025, coinciding with the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1. Based on the pairs made previously, all of the duo’s signature detailing — the stitched lateral swooshes, “AIR” text at the lateral midsole, medial label text and more — are expected to be present in a striking white and yellow color composition.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not confirmed that Off-White™’s “Canary Yellow” rendition of the Air Jordan 1 High OG will be dropping next year. Stay tuned for updates as it’s currently rumored to release during the holiday season of 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers.
