On the heels of its Paris Fashion Week debut with its Fall/Winter 2025 collection, vowels is heading into 2025 full steam ahead, just now lifting the veil on its Spring/Summer 2025 range. Rooted in Yuki Yagi‘s extensive archive of over 2,000 books and magazines, vowels continues to reimagine itself with each range of garments. For Spring/Summer 2025, vowels is honing in on leveling up its essential garments, elevating its everyday garments to more sophisticated standards.
Guided by the mantra of “making products that go well with any outfit you own and allow you to keep running in your lane,” Yagi emulates the energy and “independence of creativity and candor found in contemporary fashion muses” throughout the ready-to-wear range.
Classic vowels’ silhouettes are reimagined and toyed with, with Yagi experimenting with silhouettes and shaping, technical elements and graphic play. In sourcing from the archives, Yagi drew ample influence from antique Japanese prints – seen both loudly and subtly on graphics and tailored pieces – and textiles; outerwear comes adorned with florals while cardigans are finished off with contrasting pocketing and graphic tees come imbued with imagery of historic pottery from Peru, Greece and Great Britain.
With clean and sleek silhouettes dominating the range, vowels yet again displays its interpretation of the collegiate aesthetic on crewnecks and pullovers.
