From the terrace and running lifestyle looks to the low profile footwear trends taking the streets by storm, there’s no doubt adidas Originals’ extensive archive has proven to be unmatched.

Following their Fall/Winter 2024 partnership which brought the collection to life with an immersive event focused on movement, the brand has reunited with Zalando, continuing to celebrate statement-making individuality through style and design.

Drawing from its rich legacy embedded in the sporting world, adidas Originals highlights and elevates the details of some of its most iconic footwear models for its latest reissue. Whether it’s the specialist Taekwondo sneakers or running lifestyle SL72, Spring/Summer 2025 propels the range of performance-based silhouettes revived from its archive from the courts to the forefront of contemporary culture.

Inspired by Sukeban — a Japanese women’s wrestling league named after the rebellious girl gangs who roamed the streets of Tokyo in the ’70s and ’80s — this season’s campaign titled “Step into the Spotlight” hones in on the message of embracing self-expression. Paying homage to the league’s camaraderie, the campaign brings the adidas Originals and Zalando communities together, following group of friends adorned in the three stripes while the visual style boasts a nostalgic feel with neon palettes and vintage styling referencing its distinct retro aesthetic.
