Levi's Releases Oasis Collaboration To Celebrate The Band's 30th Anniversary
Featuring an assortment of band tees.
Levi’s has released a collection of tees to celebrate the 90s rock/Britpop band Oasis’ debut album Definitely Maybe. The 1994 album had a significant impact on rock music, receiving critical and commercial success and helping revitalize the genre in Britain. Oasis has also teased a comeback after the band broke up in 2009.
Staying simple, the tees come in black and white and feature three graphics. The first uses the classic black and white Oasis logo (in use since the band’s debut) featuring the name in a bold font. Another variation of this graphic features the bold Oasis font with a swirled Union Jack. For the third and final graphic, the outline of the name is placed on a football pitch from their 1996 concert at Maine Road Stadium.
While not new to collaborations, the band tees are a first for the heritage denim brand as Levi’s usually sticks to the classic logo tees and simple graphics. Music is a less common category for the brand as recent collaborations include Levi’s X McLaren Racing and Levi’s x Kiko Kostadinov, catering to customers interested in racing and high fashion.
The collection is set to be released on August 27 and will be available at select Levi’s stores and on Levi’s website. You can view the collaboration in the gallery above.
