EVISU Launches FW24 "Capsule Zero" Collection
Infusing classics with with electric Y2K streetwear energy.
Iconic Japanese denim brand, EVISU, is set to launch “Capsule Zero” from its new Fall/Winter 2024 collection. This release marks a bold fusion of the brand’s 35-year legacy with contemporary streetwear aesthetics, drawing inspiration from the vibrant creativity of the 2000s.
The collection showcases a dynamic color palette featuring Varsity Red, Marine Blue and Pine Green, balanced by muted tones of gray, black, beige and denim. These hues create a nostalgic yet fresh vibe, perfectly capturing the essence of Y2K fashion. Subtle camouflage patterns are also incorporated, adding an edgy twist to the lineup.
“Capsule Zero” reimagines classic Americana with a modern touch. Standout pieces include souvenir-inspired varsity jackets adorned with EVISU’s tiger emblem and Japanese graphics, chain-stitched camp collar shirts and innovative denim treatments across baggy-fit jeans and canvas pants. The collection juxtaposes cropped, structured tops with relaxed, oversized bottoms, complemented by must-have layers like coaches, moto and bomber jackets.
To celebrate the launch, EVISU has created a cinematic campaign that embodies ’00s streetwear energy. Set against bold neon-red lighting and featuring a Japanese drift car, the campaign captures the collection’s rebellious spirit and progress-driven attitude.
