DJ Premier isn’t stopping anytime soon – and his next standalone single proves just that sentiment. Aptly entitled “Ya Don’t Stop,” the producer partners with Lil Wayne, Big Sean and Rick Ross to continue his 2024 run.

“Ya Don’t Stop” arrives on the heels of a slew of Premier’s major releases including Chance the Rapper‘s “Together” and “Define My Name” with Nas.

“I’ve been on a run, and releasing singles more consistently. I had an idea and wanted to initially get Wayne and Ross on the same track,” Premier recounted in a statement.

“I reached out to Rozay first and he sent me back vocals the same day. I sent two tracks to Wayne to choose from and he sent both back the same night and told me to keep them both. Big Sean called me to do a scratch hook for him. In return, he hopped on as well.”

The producer offers a closer look into the behind-the-scenes process in an Instagram video he dropped off yesterday.

Each of the track’s artists gets his moment in the limelight, with Rick Ross carrying the first verse before handing it off to Weezy for the second and Sean Don piecing it all together with his poignant choruses.

Stream “Ya Don’t Stop” on Spotify and Apple Music now.
