Young Nudy x Metro Boomin Link Up on "John Wayne"

After teasing the track at the end of last week, Young Nudy has unleashed his Metro Boomin collab. Dubbed “John Wayne,” the single signals Nudy’s first solo release since he dropped the remix to “Peaches & Eggplants” with Sexyy Red and Latto, and comes equipped with a Wild West-inspired music video.

That’s not to say Young Nudy’s been necessarily quiet as of late, though. He returned to the spotlight recently after appearing on Childish Gambino‘s  Atavista album, featuring on the standout cut “Little Foot, Big Foot.”

“John Wayne” – which has been previously leaked before it’s official release – is a fitting return to the scene for Nudy, which finds him sliding smoothly over Metro’s clean production. The track surfaces as the first evidence of the duo’s rumored collaborative album that’s been circulating the internet for a while.

“I came in this b*tch like I’m John Wayne (Yeah), two guns on my side, I’m ready to slang somethin’ (Slang somethin’) / Reppin’ my shit, throw my sh*t in the sky, you know that I bang somethin’ (I bang somethin’) / I’m rollin’ up these bitches all the time, you know that I smoke somethin’ (Nah),” he comes in hot on the chorus.
