Peggy Gou Announces Long-Awaited Debut Album ‘I Hear You,’ Releases Single “1+1=11”
Along with the Olafur Eliasson’s first music video.
A full-length LP from Peggy Gou is seemingly long overdue, at least according to her fans. She’s been DJing for a decade now and made her breakthrough Boiler Room debut back in 2017.
Following last summer’s viral “(It Goes Like) Nanana,” Gou has announced her debut album, I Hear You. Slated to drop on June 7, the LP includes “Nanana,” as well as her recent Lenny Kravitz collaboration “I Believe in Love Again.”
To mark the announcement, the DJ has also dropped a new single, the festival anthem, “1+1=11.” Icelandic-Danish artist Olafur Eliasson is making his debut as a music video director, helming the official visual for the track and starring in it.
“I Hear You is more than just my debut album,” Gou says. “It embodies countless hours of dedication in my journey to create something timeless, and is a testament to the power of listening, to ourselves and to each other.”
