OMEGA and Swatch Debut an All-Black Mission to the Moonphase MoonSwatch
Dubbed New Moon.
Another MoonSwatch has landed. Just a little under two weeks after the grand unveiling of the Mission to the Moonphase, OMEGA and Swatch now reveal a sequel timepiece that goes by the name of New Moon.
From the case, and dial to the strap, the latest MoonSwatch is dressed in a matte black hue that directly contrasts the inaugural Misson to Moonphase timepiece in all-white. Snoopy and Woodstock continue to make an appearance reclining on the moon on the watch’s upper sub-register — where the moon phase disc is incorporated. This feature is also imprinted with “I can’t sleep without a night light!” a secret message that only emerges in that dark.
Attired in Swatch’s own Bioceramic, the New Moon watch boasts s 42mm case size and a silhouette that nods to OMEGA’s iconic Speedmaster aka Moonwatch. While the traditional model features three chronograph subdials, the Mission to the Moonphase has tweaked the design to incorporate a moon phase indicator.
