Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg have a new collaboration – and no, it isn’t a new song. The two musical heavyweights have teamed up to launch the canned cocktail brand, Gin & Juice.

The company gets its name from Snoop’s Doggystyle cut, “Gin and Juice,” which was produced by Dre and details the narrative of an alcohol-fueled party.

The ready-to-drink Gin & Juice has debuted with a 5.9% ABV lineup of its debut four flavors: citrus, apricot, melon and passionfruit. Available now, the brand is sold in packs of four – one of each flavor – for $11.99 USD at participating retailers and liquor stores.

“Together, we always try to create magic, we’re having fun being creative, and everything about this product is really us,” Dre said. “There’s passion behind it, and friendship and love and a culture. We’re shooting to make everything we do magnificent, and fortunately, most of the time we hit the target.”

“Look where we’re at in our careers,” Snoop added. “Look at our age and look at what we’ve done, and we still love each other, so why not do something together? A lot of times people have been in a relationship for thirty years and can’t talk to each other, can’t hang out, so it’s just fun to be in a partnership with people that you actually love.”

With the launch, Dre and Snoop join a long list of celebrities that have created their own alcohol brands – canned cocktails, specifically, have been popping up as of late. Last month, Kylie Jenner rolled out Sprinter, her take on a fruit-flavored vodka soda.
