Closer Look at the PUMA MB.04

Update: Earlier this week, we caught a first glimpse at what to expect from LaMelo Ball and PUMA Hoops’ fourth collaborative sneaker — the MB.04. Now, an additional glance at the upcoming silhouette has been provided, revealing six colorways and new details. Notably, Ball’s “1 of 1” motto arrives at the left shoe’s lateral while each pair embraces vibrant color schemes. Original Story: LaMelo Ball has been riddled with injuries throughout the first four seasons of his NBA career. Despite this, he’s made his mark on the league and established himself as a prominent young guard. At the same time, he’s managed to carry out the launch of a successful signature shoe line with PUMA Hoops. Introducing the PUMA MB.01 at the start of his second season in the league, he’s since gone on to release two additional designs, with the MB.03 continuing to receive new colorways each month.
Looking ahead to next season, it looks like Ball and PUMA have plenty more in store for fans as a first look at the PUMA MB.04 has now surfaced. The brief preview of the new pair features one blurry image, but shares plenty about what we can expect from the new model. Building off of the heavily detailed MB.03, the MB.04 is similarly covered in motifs and patterns. Spotted first with a red-on-yellow color composition, the pair notably features an elaborate synthetic overlay. This detail sports “LOVE” text at the lateral above PUMA’s classic Formstrip design and seemingly carries Ball’s “RARE” motif at the toe while his angel logo hits both the toe and tongue.
At the time of writing, PUMA Hoops has not disclosed any details regarding the release of LaMelo Ball’s next signature shoe, presumably named the PUMA MB.04.
