Tissot Taps Damian Lillard for a PRX Watch Collaboration

Tissot has enlisted Damian Lillard to co-design a special edition PRX watch. The eight-time NBA All-Star player, who also goes by the moniker of Dame D.O.L.L.A. in the music scene, has come hand-in-hand with the Swiss watch brand to put his personal style onto the signature watch model.
Dressed in gold PVD, the 40mm watch boasts alternating polished and satin finishing from its case to its matching steel bracelet. Based on the PRX Powermatic 80, the hallmarked waffle dial is replaced with a repeating “0” motif that nors to Lillard’s jersey number. The dial is doused in a sleek black to accentuate its golden adornments, which includes Tissot’s logo, lumed indices and handset, a 3 o’clock date as well as Lillard’s monogram on the seconds hand.
Upon a closer look, one may notice “DAME” and “TIME” as subtle engravings on the rehaut. Responding to that, the lower left corner features “YKWTII,” an acronym for “You Know What Time It Is” While the lower right of the rehaut is marked with “DDKK” to nod to each of Lillard’s family members.
The special edition timepiece is set to release next week via Tissot and will retail for $825 USD/ £780 GBP.
