Oakley’s latest eyewear models offer the brand’s most extended field of view, to date. Dubbed Sphaera and BiSphaera, the path-forging sunglasses are built to enhance athletic performance “by and for contenders” at the Summer Games.

Sphaera adopts an open-ended design concept that widens the wearer’s view with Prizm™ Lens Technology, which is designed to enhance color and contrast so that you can see more detail. The lens is situated inside an elegant, lightweight O-Matter™ frame, with a frontal vent for maximal airflow. Notably, the eyewear piece firmly grips onto the face with Unobtainium® nose pads and molded-in earscks.

“Rock-solid peripheral vision is critical for performing my best, especially in the heat of competition, where a complete field of view is essential to win,” said French cross-country and mountain biker Loana Lecomte, who’s also a member of Team Oakley. “Sphaera’s stylish design with its wide lens is truly a game changer.”

BiSphaera, meanwhile, builds on the flagship Flak® 2.0 XL, with an adaptable sport-inspired finish. The design includes a dual-lens performance model that’s ideal for both on-field competition and daily life. The sunglasses boast a similar brow and stem construction to their Sphaera counterpart, but they come with the option of either Prizm™ Lens Technology or the Oakley Authentic Prescription lenses.

Oakley’s Sphaera and BiSphaera sunglasses are now available to shop on the brand’s webstore and in select Oakley stores. See the designs in the gallery above.
