'Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket' Brings the Iconic TCG to Mobile Devices

In addition to announcing Pokémon Legends: Z-A, The Pokémon Company took the time to reveal its next mobile game — Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket — during its Pokémon Presents for Pokémon Day.
Bringing the beloved Pokémon TCG to mobile devices, the title centers around opening booster packs, collecting cards and participating in quick battles. Notably, it follows the release of Pokémon Trading Card Game Live, which officially launched last year as a more traditional simulation of the Pokémon TCG experience. However, with Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket, the experience is tailored to mobile gaming as exclusive cards and immersive art have been crafted to enhance the experience. Revealed via a two-minute trailer, it highlights the process of opening packs, trading with friends and offers a first glance at the revamped quick battle system.
Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket is set to arrive on iOS and Android devices later this year as a free-to-start application that is said to include two free booster packs each day. Stay tuned for updates as The Pokémon Company shares more information about the upcoming title.
