RiTchie – formally Ritchie with a T – of By Storm/Injury Reserve is entering a new era. Earlier today, the rapper announced his first-ever solo project entitled Triple Digits [112] is arriving this spring and continued the release rollout with a vibey follow-up to last week’s offering entitled “Dizzy” with Aminé.

Described as “a singular expression of RiTchie’s personality,” Triple Digits [112] finds the rapper “expand his palette to include both the experimental and crowd-pleasing, trunk-rattling music he sees from peers and featured guests,” a press release indicates.

Per an Instagram post RiTchie shared last week, Triple Digits [112] is about ignoring the expectations – the ones others have of him, and the ones he has set for himself. “What started as a personal outlet to release these mental barriers, ended up with me having some fun music I felt comfortable with, then confident and now excited to put out there in the world while me and Parker continue to work on the first By Storm record,” RiTchie wrote.

“Dizzy” clocks in at nearly four minutes, and comes complete with a POV-type music video with RiTchie himself behind the camera. “You the type to link and build at a urinal / Your granny died you taking fit pics at the funeral,” Aminé jumps on the beat – live from the urinal next to RiTchie. The rapper dropped off the album’s first single last week “RiTchie Valens,” which he called a “perfect intro/palate cleanser for what [he has] in store.”
