21 Savage Taps Brent Faiyaz and Summer Walker for 'SNL' Performance
Performing a medley of ‘american dream’ tracks.
21 Savage took over the Saturday Night Live stage this past weekend to perform a trifecta of cuts from his latest project, american dream. The rapper brought out Brent Faiyaz and Summer Walker to deliver a dreamy medley of “should’ve wore a bonnet” and “prove it” after riding solo for a captivating live performance of fan-favorite cut “redrum.”
Savage started off with “should’ve wore a bonnet,” posted up center stage underneath the blue light. Faiyaz joins him for his part – “Drop the lo’, I’m comin’ /I already know it’s runnin’ for me / You can make all the mess that you want / And that’s all that I want” – before the track transitions into “prove it.”
“I’m pourin’ up Wocky in Greece,” he kicks off. “I came a long way from the east / She leavin’ her cream on the sheets / My brother say he want a niece.” Walker transcends out from the orange lighting to deliver the chorus.

He also performed “redrum” earlier in the show, delivering a dynamic live performance of the hard-hitting cut complete with a violinist, two background singers and a group of ballerinas.
